These Terms govern your use of the HMDIA Login & Registration WordPress plugin (“Core”), the separately installed HMDIA Login & Registration Pro add-on (“Pro”), related HMDIA add-ons, and any license, update, or support services HMDIA provides for them (together, the “Products”). They supplement HMDIA’s general Terms and Conditions. If those general terms conflict with the software license described below, the software license controls your rights in the code.
These Terms are for people who install, administer, or purchase the Products. Visitors and registered users of an independently operated website using the Products are subject to that website owner’s terms and privacy policy, not these Product Terms merely because the owner installed the Products.
Core and Pro are distributed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPLv2 or later). That license governs your rights to use, study, modify, and redistribute the software under its conditions. Nothing in these Terms takes away rights granted by the GPL. Keep applicable copyright, license, and attribution notices when redistributing the software.
Payment for Pro concerns the official HMDIA license, activation, updates, support, and other services or entitlements stated at purchase. The GPL software license and eligibility for HMDIA’s hosted services are separate. Distribution of a copy of the code does not transfer a purchaser’s license key or confer access to that purchaser’s HMDIA account, support, or update service. HMDIA’s name and logos are not licensed as trademarks merely because the code is available under the GPL.
Core can be used without Pro. Pro is a separate add-on that requires a compatible Core installation. Other HMDIA add-ons may have their own requirements and may be included in a particular Pro offer only if that offer says so. Features, compatibility information, and any included services are described on the applicable product or checkout page and in the order confirmation.
You are responsible for checking that your WordPress, PHP, hosting, email, and connected services meet the stated requirements. Before installing an update on a live website, keep a usable backup and check important registration, sign-in, email, and account flows in your environment.
If you purchase Pro, the plan displayed at checkout and in your order confirmation determines the price, billing term, number of permitted site activations for HMDIA services, and any included update or support period. Keep your license key and purchasing account secure. You may activate and manage it within the limits of your purchased plan. Contact HMDIA if you need help moving an activation to another website.
Official Pro updates and support require the applicable entitlement. If that entitlement ends, access to those HMDIA services may end; your GPL rights in a copy you already received remain. A license key may be deactivated or access to HMDIA’s license service suspended for nonpayment, fraudulent purchases, or misuse of the service, subject to applicable law. This does not revoke the GPL license to software copies you lawfully received.
Prices, currency, taxes, billing frequency, any automatic renewal, and cancellation instructions are shown at checkout and in your order confirmation. Optional outside services, such as SMS delivery through Twilio, may charge their own fees.
14-day money-back guarantee: If you are not satisfied with HMDIA Login & Registration Pro, contact us within 14 calendar days after a Pro plan payment for a full refund of the amount HMDIA charged for that payment. This applies to Yearly and Lifetime plans, including Yearly renewals. We return the refund to the original payment method; your payment provider controls how long the refund takes to appear. Charges paid to third-party services are separate and are not covered by this guarantee. Your rights under applicable law remain in place.
If a payment is refunded, the Pro license entitlement, updates, and support associated with that payment end. Your GPL rights in software copies already received remain. To request a refund or ask a billing question, use HMDIA’s contact page and provide your order details without sending your password or complete payment-card information.
You control the settings, registration fields, account roles, access rules, messages, submitted files, and services enabled on your website. You are responsible for administering WordPress users, configuring reasonable security and backups, publishing accurate terms and privacy notices for your visitors, obtaining any required consents, and complying with laws that apply to your website. Do not use the Products to create unauthorized accounts, send spam, collect information you have no right to collect, or interfere with another website.
HMDIA does not operate or control an independent customer website simply because the Products are installed there. The Products support account management and security, but no plugin can guarantee that a website will be free from unauthorized access, spam, delivery failures, or data loss.
Optional Google reCAPTCHA, Cloudflare Turnstile, Twilio, hosting, email, and other services have their own terms, prices, and privacy practices. You are responsible for the accounts, credentials, configuration, and disclosures needed when you enable them. Pro contacts HMDIA for license and update services. See HMDIA’s Privacy Policy for information HMDIA receives directly and your website’s own privacy policy for information it collects from visitors. HMDIA may also publish a separate product privacy notice with more detail.
HMDIA may release fixes, security improvements, compatibility changes, and new features. The timing and scope of future releases are not guaranteed unless expressly included in your purchase. Support availability and any response commitments are those stated for your plan. We may temporarily interrupt HMDIA-hosted license and update services for maintenance, security, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Report a suspected security issue privately through HMDIA’s contact page with enough information for us to investigate. Do not include customer passwords, secret keys, or unnecessary personal information in a support request.
To the extent permitted by law, the Products and HMDIA-hosted services are provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every theme or plugin, error-free email or SMS delivery, or a particular security or business outcome. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or remedy that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
To the extent permitted by law, HMDIA is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Products or HMDIA-hosted services. Any limitations in HMDIA’s general Terms and Conditions apply only insofar as they are lawful and do not restrict the rights granted by the GPL or non-excludable consumer rights.
HMDIA may update these Terms by posting a revised version and update date. Changes do not retroactively remove GPL rights or alter a paid term already promised in your order without a lawful basis. These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, subject to any mandatory protections or forum rights that apply where you live.
If you have questions about these Terms, contact HMDIA.
